Our dear friend and colleague Barbara Breitsameter will not be teaching with us this time, but you can follow her blog here.
TERESA BERG is a graduate of Elkins Institute of Photography and a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA). She is recognized for her tender, emotional and often humorous studio portraits which are on display and in publication across the country. Her infinite patience and sense of humor make her very comfortable with dogs, kids and chaos, in general. A lifelong photographer with many years of film and darkroom experience, she now works mostly with digital cameras shooting dogs, kids and families from her studio in Dallas.
“Every dog is a work of art to me, the way they move, their texture — they just fascinate me! I never dreamed I’d end up shooting dogs for a living but the variety and creative challenge is really addictive.” She is a regular contributor to several publications and publishes two dog calendars each year. She was recently profiled by Steve Hartman for CBS Sunday Morning, has done live interviews on Martha Stewart Living radio and BBC live in London. She was recently featured in Country Living Magazine and The Today Show online for her work photographing rescue dogs. She continues to train rescue volunteers, showing them how to improve adoption rates by improving their dog and cat photography. Visit her adoption photography blog, Focus On Rescue

BEV HOLLIS has been photographing pets professionally since starting her business in 2006. She is a licensed veterinarian and received her doctorate from the University of Tennessee. While practicing veterinary medicine Bev did post-doctoral work in animal behavior. It is this extensive and specialized training that Bev believes allows her to better understand her animal subjects.
Bev has received numerous awards for her photography and her animal work has been featured in magazines, calendars and commercially in the Washington, DC area.
Bev owns Bev Hollis Photography and shoots in northern Virginia’s hunt country. She is happiest doing location work and does most of her shooting in rural settings or amongst the landmarks and architecture of Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia. See Bev’s work at: www.bevhollisphoto.com

Love the photo girls and what a pleasure to be able to tap into your experience and knowledge at the 2010 Unleashed – fine art pet photography workshop in Dallas.
